Just You
You're like a rosebush,
Which compliments the darkest nights,
I would love to pluck you,
but hey,
I might get pricked.

You're like the moonlight,
which had lighten up my many lonely nights,
I would love to have glimpses of you,
but hey,
You'll fade really soon.

You're like the vast ocean,
which is where I've spent my loveliest nights,
I would love to explore you,
but hey,
You might drown me.

You're like the morning sun,
My very first sight after the long night,
I would love to....urmm...
but hey,
....urmmm...

Oh darn,
You're just you,
You're just the beautiful you.

The Wedding Dinner

Wedding dinner,an event where man with greasy bald head and a pot belly put their thophy wife on parade while boys keep their finger crossed, hoping that women overdosed with bottles of booze would start stripping(spare the man please). All my life I've attended numerous wedding dinners and I gotta say that all of them bored me like nothing else does, even chicks in inches of make up and tight satin dresses couldn't lift up the dready atmosphere.Only aunties would enjoy this sort of function as they would always be engrossed in some really "juicy" conversations,"How's your son doing in school?","You lost alot of weight eh?Can't recognise you!".Gosh, you wouldn't need a lie detector for that.

Anyways,I just attended my auntie's(dad's cousin)wedding dinner. It was held in a top notch hotel by the way,a fact that pushed my mom and sis into a shopping frenzy(they're trying their best to steal the limelight).I'm sure that this wedding would score a homerun in most girls' fantasy,With rose petals scattered all around the red carpet as the newlyweds made their grand entrance along tables amounting to nearly a hundred. Most times during the wedding I hung out with my cousin,Adrian who couldn't keep his eyes to himself throughout the night(I gotta say that some ladies there are gorgeous)but believe it or not,he's a guy who's still rooting for a girl she started liking 4 years ago.The wedding was almost perfect until some wedding singers threatened to ruin the night with their horrendous song selection,"Venus,I'm your fire of desire!",goodness me.To sum it up,it turned up pretty okay but I had to go for supper as the food didn't impress me much.

My self portrait

Blessed with a chiselled Greek God-like profile,180 pounds of sheer rippling mucles that is well supported by a 188cm frame, and last but not least,a personality that could charm the knickers off even the most well behaved ladies.....Only in my wildest fantasy(sorry to dissapoint ya,ladies).

Step back to reality and I'm nothing more than an average joe.Born Yong Ian,my family members and friends would normally call me Ian.My name is pretty unique and I never doubted it as it has never failed to provide the laughters. Most teachers in school never knew how to pronounce it properly while some mistaken the I for an L(Yong Lan...urggghhh).

As a result of a procastinated diet regiment(hey..what's life without sushis and pizzas!)and a lackadaisical attitude towards any rigorous activities,I'm no Mr World here(T.T).Curly locks so curly that it makes me look like an Afro sporting hippie,a fair reason i keep it short cropped most times.Btw,I've got black eyes well hidden behind a pair of Puma which I've worn for an eternity.

Basically,I live a very simple and monotonous life where I go to school, anticipates recess, and then the end of school everyday.Basically,I'm a person who would bore you to death.Though like every other hot-blooded teenagers,I do have a passion for somethings.I'm a literature afficianado.I'm very much interested in all forms of literature like novels, short stories and poems. I would probably post some of my literature pieces here, honest comments would be very much desired even if it ain't music to the ears:D

Sunday blues?

This is another one of those Sundays where I normally have brunch at 12:30pm...fairly typical...except that I had to paint the house or risk having to spend January without a single dime in my Body Glove.I gotta give props to HE who sits high above for keeping the wheather cool and breezy, wouldn't fancy going to school looking like a monkey's rearend.Approximately 5 hours later,my dad decided to take over the brush, concluding that I would never make a career out of painting(Boy I wished he could realise that much earlier,my joints are killing me).

Smelling strongly of tinner,I needed a hot bath desperately and that's exactly what I treated myself too. What would a Sunday evening be without some chocs and novels right?Cadburry's fruits and nuts was the only thing I could locate in my fridge, hardly the Monroe of chocs, but with my tastebuds yearning for it,I'll probably chomp down anything brown at the moment
(please subdue your imagination for this particular one).Regina's Song, even the title sounds great..don't ya think so?haha...this story is truly captivating...I was almost swept away by an overwhelming urge to call Aitert(me and Aitert are sort of having a bookie group going on,every now and then...we would call each other to talk about books). It's a phycological thriller anyways.
