10 Reasons to why I hate the World Cup

-Brazil are the favourites and unless they have a mental breakdown or sorts...the cup is theirs...their slow start is just a dawn of greater things to come...watch out for Kaka...that one's for the ladies.

-The timing of the matches...they usually have matches that ends around midnight and right after those...they always have one at 3am!bloody German officials...can't you arrange the second match to be played right after the first?German efficiency...

-England really sucks.I've always been a avid England and I'm proud to say that I've stuck with them through their disastrous campaigns in World Cup 2002 and Euro 2004...but really...they suck big time in this tournament...I love them but I gotta say they barely deserve to be in the last 8.

-Some of the much maligned underdogs didn't live up to the hype...Czech's really disappointing...getting a player sent off in almost ain't really a good way to win matches.

-Really...all I crap about these days is just plain...football....shites....Demam World Cup MembunuhS!

-The carton of Carlsberg my dad got from his boss is fast emptying...and those packets of Snickers are going straight to my gutters...if the World Cup is a year long event like the EPL season...I'm going to die of a liver failure at the age of 18....not to mention obesity.

-It really disrupts my biological clock...sleeping all day staying up all night...I totally am living for the moment...which I'm gonna pay for soon...mid term papers are just around the corner.

-All the money lost!no...I did not gamble..it's a sin right?haha...an outing with my friends ain't really a very enomic way to enjoy the tournament...all the money on food and pool(during half time...Asia rockz)Though I can't deny that it feels rather great to enjoy the beautiful game under the stars at Asia Cafe with their megasized screen and the euphoria of celebrating a goal there is simply orgasmic.

-Germany are playing well...Wendy supports them...so the Germans are my sworn enemy...not to mention that I'm an England fan(they have some history if you haven't already knew).

-Lastly,I simply hate it because I know no matter what happens during the World Cup...I'll enjoy and crave for it every single day until the winner's decided...then I'm going to spend the next 4 years anticipating the next World Cup-South Africa 2010.To quote an female Equadorian fan that made her way to the papers with an interesting quote-'It's better than sex'.

Revelations

This sem has been a revelation really...this sem I've got the chance to do subjects like social psychology,sociology,writing for the mass media,writing for business and a couple of management subs...it's been a blast really...other than the assignments of course...I've just been told that I'll be having presentation for all six subs..which means I'll have to prepare 6 formal,visual and documentary presentation just to get my coursework marks...great ain't it...don't worry...I'll still have enough time for movies and pool...anyone?haha...

well..the downside is...I'm seriously reconsidering my options these days...i'm not too sure if I really want to major in Public Relations anymore...I'm so tempted to pursue Psychology...or even Journalism....sometimes...just sometimes...options are not really a luxury..it's a burden.
